Tried my best, within my patience limits lol, to clone out the wire and remove the distractions caused by it. The left side was too complex for CS5 Content-Aware so I decided to go with fake tilt-shift to remove its visual weight.
Excellent series. 1,2 and 4 are spectacular. I think the OOF fence in the 3 doesn't work as it cuts right through the woman's face. 1 is powerful. I love the POV in #2 and #4 is my fav. My only tiny critique is the crop the little bit of bush poking on the the left edge of the image.

Wow now that you mention it, it seems so obvious, yet for 2 years it has eluded me.
The first one seems to be a popular photo, that one actually netted me my first ever money for photography. I won $500 for the 'Army Magazine' photo of the year contest for 2011.
These are all obviously landscapes, but they are also much more than that, which makes them more unusual and arresting. I think the first and fourth are the most interesting, but they all have elements that make me look longer and think about them. Really nice work.

#1 gives me goosebumps. #s 3 and 4 are also quite compelling. If you've said where these were taken, I've not noticed it. Very memorable images!
The desert-looking ones are from just south of Kandahar city, Afghanistan. The boat pic is from yaqueta island, Fiji.
These are very nice. In all of the desert shots your inclusion of human elements really adds a unique touch to the shots. I agree with Scott's thoughts on #3.
