These beautiful shrubs are much more widespread through the pacific north west United States but here in British Columbia they only bloom in a couple of very limited areas. So it makes a great early summer camping trip to Manning Provincial Park well worth while. This year it was quite damp when we arrived.

You're right Karl, I just can't seem to let go of the warm months go, but then I did set aside a bunch of files to work on when the weather turned cold. Thanks for the comment, wandering around in a forest filled with these beauties would be right up you alley.

Ron - Are the rhodos you guys have the same as these or are they more lower growing bushes? These grow out in the forest and can be over 20 feet high.

We have both wild and domesticated, (?), ones here. I've never seen any 20' tall though ~ Ron
