WAY GROSS AND COOL
Gross? There's not an ounce of grossness...now if you want grossness I can produce that in spades....any organ you particularly find gross
But cool? Yah, it was very cool for me despite the 100F at 4:30pm...I just seem to get lucky with leopards....can't explain it really.

Ok, how the heck did I miss this the first time around I mean REALLY!!!
This is just FANTASTIC. To be in the right place at the right time is incredibly difficult. I watched the whole 10 minutes of the video. It, along with the great images, is just something you don't see every day!
Eric, Right time right place great close ups ... one tired Leopard. So now where are the rest of the photos - we know you did not turn around and go back to camp
PS was this a &Beyond Lodge ?

Excellent Eric, just excellent!

Thanks you my friend. That part is truly lucky and I have to hand it to my guide who gunned the engine once the leopard "hooked on" and got me front and center.

Yup, timing and location won out this time. I do have some other shots but we left before any real feeding took place in order to give other vehicles a chance to get some shots...by that time the leopard had gone to the rear and started feeding and disemboweling the impala. It was at Chitabe (Wilderness Safari camp) but as you probably know, Sandibe (&Beyond camp) shares traversing rights.
Actually we went to a hippo pool...where I finally breathed and let my heart rate get back to normal

Nature at it's best, beautiful series! Love the first one!
Thanks so much....as I like to say, nature is neither cruel nor benevolent...it just is...but having said that, I always root for the predator.

Amazing imagery my friend and the moving pictures are a thrill to view
Equally thrilling is to be able to see this magnificent Cat's behavior so close, hats off on this set Eric
I am heading back to Kenya and South Africa in January. In my wildest dreams I could not imagine a better predator/prey experience. You are one lucky dude.

Much appreciated Tom...I have waited and waited to get something like this and virtually always come away disappointed so until the deed was done I convinced myself it was another fishing trip that would be fruitless...fortunately she is a very good huntress and made this look easy.
