Don't feel like you have to post every shot you own. Personally, I could do with out so many and ones like 65 and 66 make me wonder if you cull them at all.
May I suggest you choose some of your best ones - a half dozen or so, and post them for critique?
I just like sharing. Of course I cull (though culling is different for each outlet. Blog, book, album, exhibit, photo dumps ), Im sure I've taken well over 5000 photos of my family in the past year and a half, so showing 200 is definitely not showing everything...
I'm not really asking for critique. Just sharing. Sometimes I do post smaller sets, and I do get some good critique, bu this is not one of those times I actually really like 65 and 66. But in your honor I did take off 2 others.
And while I respect your opinion (and many times in your comments you catch these small things that often get overlooked, but they would make the photo better), our tastes are definitely not the same.
I actually like that you post a lot of photos. I post rather heavily culled sets (read: I don't have much good to share), but I enjoy immersing myself in your day(s). However, when I go through for favorites I find that I tend to find more in the beginning; not sure if this is a function of you putting your best foot forward early or my lack of endurance.
Other random notes/thoughts:
Favorites include 50 (nice tones, something very different from what I end up taking), 54 (love it), 56, 90. I wish you shot vertical (haha) on 60 and included more/all of the reflection.
Did Zevi turn 6 (?) yet? Has he tired of the weird blob in the bottom of photos yet?
Wrong religion, but your little one has some Buddha going on....
Just going kinda quick, 'cuz that's a lotta images ;-)
54 - Win.
68 - ha ha, lemme outta here.
71 - Zevi - "I have the coolest mom, no other kids get to stand on the counter!"
72-74: Neat little series, did you get one of the finished thing he was making?
85 - good colors and motion
90 - Great moment and light.
93 - makes me smile
97 - funny story here. I'm wondering what kinda concoction she made?
Dave, we sure do like our dairy! The photos are mostly in order taken, but I may have been more careful of culling in the beginning and then I just got lazy (or wanted to share more )
No, he's still 5, which blob are you referring to?
And yes, he is totally a baby buddha
David:
71, you should see my next set
72-74, Zevi wanted to make a "toilet" so he gather a bunch of random wood stuff and we banged it together. Didn't really end up looking like a toilet, but it's still out there.
75. apple juice, grape juice, seltzer, and kombucha.
