My son recently stood up for a wedding and had to get a tux, we decided to take advantage of the opportunity. He thought he was the cat's meow in that tux, it was a lot of fun.
When you wear a tie with a tux, you gotta snug it up to the top of the shirt. The partially undone look that is kinda cool with a casual suit doesn't work (IMO) with a tux. But that's a wardrobe issue.
