Well, I pulled my 1Ds Mark II out of the bag for the first time in six months, and decided to take some pictures of the kit that replaced it as sort of the 'last hurrah' for my 1Ds II. I've been meaning to sell it for some time, and unfortunately, in the year+ that I should have been selling it, I've lost a fair bit of value, but oh well.
All lenses that I regularly use. This somewhat illustrates why I switched. The FD lens is the 50-300mm f/4.5L. It weighs 4 lbs 0.2 oz. So that one lens weighs 5.3 ounces less than all of the other lenses shown combined (4 lbs 5.5 oz). To compare to a full frame kit...all 9 of the AF lenses shown combined weigh almost exactly the same (12g difference) as the Canon 17-40L and 70-200/2.8L IS II together. http://www.jordansteele.com/2012/m43_lenses_nov12.jpg
You are very well covered in M4/3 gear! Nice! Only no Pana 21?
The Oly 45/1.8 is the only M4/3 AF lens I still have together with the G1. Such a nice lens, couldn't let it go. A problem of mine
BTW I see you're from Columbus. I worked there for a short period, back in the 90'ths at the Ohio State University.
My Ricoh TLS 401
RIP, just lifted the mirror manually and instantly the shutter broke!
Love tho original camera strap which came with the camera, still using it!
and my new old SRT 303
sqeaking like hell, had to lubricate the inner mechanics to get the shutter to work again.
