Captured at wide open aperture in the beautiful island of Bali. Frankly, I couldn't think of any other lens that I would use, offering this level of performance with zooming flexibility of this focal length range.

I wanted to share one last picture from Iguaçu Falls in Brazil. The light was incredible that evening and I was feeling the pressure to capture what I saw.
I was able to get a faster shutter speed for this one and because I didn't use any filters, I closed down the aperture to f/13 to slow down the waters.
Taken with my Canon 5D III and 24-70 II @24mm.

i've shot three weddings and two engagements w/ the 24-70mm 2.8L II. the only primes i have used alongs side are the 24 tse ii, 100L macro and 300 2.8 IS II. Usually I bust out the 24L ii, 35L, 50L and 85 1.2 II L, but they haven't left my bag much.

This lens really excels in studio settings to maximize the area of the sensor ..... as any other zoom lens in the FL range can although the IQ of the Mark II lens is simply superb.
