Joshua, Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful images. Your talent always amazes me. I did have to smile at the train picture on page 1 with all the cameras hanging out the side in front of you, but I think I liked the humor aspect added to the image as well. .
It has been about 6 years since we traveled in that area, and even longer since visiting Europe. With my interest now in photography, I am really ready to travel again and wishing family issues weren't preventing it. In the mean time I really enjoyed yours.
Kathy, thank you very much for your kind words. I am very blessed to be able to go to places and to enjoy photography at the same time. Here are a few images for you with warm regards.

These pictures were taken with my 5D III and 24-70 II during my recent trip to Iguaçu Falls, located in the state of Paraná, Brazil. (South of São Paulo)
I had never been there before but this place was in my buck list.

Well that may be it. I sold my 24-70 MkI and 17-40, because I wanted something different and was going to play with primes for a bit. Now it seems the MkII may be the better choice. Thanks for all the beautiful images posted here, too!

I never thought I would like a 24-70mm zoom. I mainly shoot ultra-wide and super-tele but this gem forces me to shoot at a more "normal" range.
Thanks for the comments on the images I posted. This is such a great thread.

I shot with the lens yesterday for the first time. Yes, very sharp and nice snappy focus. I also very, very much appreciate the locking mechanism as some of my remote work would often have the 24-70 I, telescoping out until I put a wrist band on it that worked great.

Seeing all these 5D3 and 24-70II shots really makes me nervous, everyone is making great/stunning images, this is indeed a wonder thread...that is some amazing glass!
If the buckaroos were available the 5D3, 24-70II and 70-200II IS would make for quite the minimalist kit
