David, nice shots. The second myna shot is much better than the first I think. Mind you the Common Myna is NOT a liked bird here. They were introduced from Asia and have become a major pest aggressively competing with native birds for food and nesting sites.

Nice shot of the Australian Magpie too. They're mostly a liked bird here except in spring when some are known to swoop possible threats to their nesting site. While growing up I recall some particularly over-protective magpies swooping kids. That was a great concern to the average 6-10 year old having to walk or ride bikes to school.
