Checked out your link. You have some beautiful shots there. Your eye for composition is superb. We have family in and around London and try to get over every 18 months or so. You've given me new inspiration to shoot in the downtown area. I'm also impressed that you had the patience wait until there were no pedestrians in the shot. Very well done.

I'm still adding shots to the gallery.
I usually wait for people to get out of the way, I don't like people in my architecture shots.
If they don't move, I clone them out.
My favourite time to visit London is September, when the "Open House Weekend" takes place.
That's when private and government building are open to the public.
