Nice
I got a few pics back in 2010, I hope it makes a return in 2013 so I can get some better shots.
These were taken on a 1D3 with a Sigma 120-300 + 1.4tc if I recall correctly.
Great shot jj_glos, love the perspective on the first one.

Ahhhh...The F--2 raptor is by far my favorite bird. Here's a few of mine. All were shot with my 40D (My she R.I.P.) and a 100-400L. Hoping to get a bunch more this Friday at Miramar Air Show with the new 5D3. The beauty of Miramar is you can almost always count of serious vapor trails from the Raptor, and a full vapor cone on the FA-18. I slipped a few FA-18 shots in also.
Fort Wayne!!! Oh, that makes me sick! I missed out on going to the show in Indianapolis this year but didn't even look into the Ft. Wayne show, because earlier in the summer when I checked their website, they still hadn't posted what was going to be in the show. So, like a fool apparently, I dismissed it. I would have certainly driven up to see it (I'm just north of Lafayette in Monticello), especially to watch the Raptor! It flew in Indy a couple of years back, and I've been wanting to see it again. AAARRRGGGHHH! I hate that I missed it. Oh well, I'll keep my eyes and ears open next season for sure.

Andy,
The web site for the show was not kept up to date in a timely fashion, the Facebook page was more accurate. The WX was not cooperative at all for the show, I got my best shots on arrival day (Friday).
They had some no shows and the flight schedule was shuffled a bit to work around the weather, but overall for a free show how can you complain. The Guard unit was thrilled with the turnout and hopes to have more shows in the future, probably not next year but every other year so mark your 2014 Calendar.
I hit the Indy show every year perhaps I will run into you next year.

From 07 F22 Raptor, P51 Mustang, F-15 Eagle, and A-10 Warthog. They formed up right after the F-15 demo and I did not get my shutter speed down far enough and froze the prop.
Nice combination of aircraft. I can't count the number of times I forget to take the camera out of "Jet" mode. Plenty of perfectly frozen prop shots in my Trashbin.
