The Peanut Gallery thinks these pictures are swell .
I know that bald eagles catch live fish, and I know they grab floating dead fish.
I wish there was some way to look at a photograph and tell which "hunting" procedure was used.
I suspect that from a distance, even the photog can't tell for certain which scenario he or she saw.

The series will tell you this was a live fish Charlie. I threw it in the river. Thanks for the reply!
FYI, it's quite possible that the tagged bird is a local from down the road at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. I understand that there are quite a few nesting pairs on all that Army property.
