Drinkin' coffee and uploading wedding pics I hear the unmistakable gurgle
of one of these Ran out and saw one clear the tree tops at the foothills.
Surely a scout but i'm finding it hard to contain my excitement...as this'll
mean leaves turning colors and FM'ers fallin' from the skies. Happy times!
Thrills my soul to see you posting some pre-season pics of this years scout.
Great opener Will... love the light, detail, and terrific composition buddy... hoping it's a great season for the Sandies.
Waaaaay coooool man... love this time of year.
Kirkster
P.S. Looks like the Monkey got some new BIG glass... business must be goooood.
My you have gotten artsy in your absence And I mean that in a very good way too!
Yes sir, seasons changing here and things are coming alive and the Sandies will be coming to visit you, great to hear from you buddy and I sincerely look forward to seeing what is coming your way
We stopped by the Isenberg Crane reserve near Lodi, CA, last week because they had Sandhill Cranes much earlier than usual as well. We saw several cranes, but most were too far off for good photos. Hope to make it back over to BdA sometime this season.

Hola, Kirkster!! Old pic with the 300 f2.8 & TC17...I'm recovering from my youngest's wedding and will be
FL challenged this season 'til THAT's paid off. Got a 300 f4 and the 70-200 and will be fine. Biggest sellers
last year were snow scene Sandhill shots taken primarily with the 70-200, so go figure! Thanks, buddy.

Nice one, especially with the lighting.
Hey Scott, thanks...one from the coffers I re-cropped for the occasion.
Lookin' back, the original prints were too centered. I've become more artsy fartsy of late
It's fall and the leaves and monkeys are falling from the sky. Great to see you on this forum Will. Hope to see some fresh sandies from you soon, but this one is super.
