D200 + 80-400 VR + 1.4x TC @ 560mm, ISO 800, 1/640, f8, fill flash (SB910 + Diffuser)
Both of these were taken under fast moving clouds that brought tornados to other parts of the New York Metro area. Photography wise, the clouds produced nice soft light that I wanted to work with as it’s great for portraits. I used a flash diffuser to soften the fill light to match the natural lighting. This meant getting close to my subjects which is easy for me to do. I also checked my background as I did not want distractions.

Do you mean I need to show people how to run around naked in the marsh?
There are so many different ways to flash there would be plenty to cover. Possibly I should run a seminar; it is the thing most starting nature photographers done use.
