Maybe they'll offer a monochrome AA filter-free version as well...
A digital Mamiya 6 would be really cool. As for competing against the M series... that would depend on the end goal of the user. If it's sheer larger sensor image characteristics, offset by a larger body and lenses, then I guess so. But it's pretty tough to compete against the many very compact M lenses for overall ease of portability without sacrificing too much image quality.

Just as in the film days hasselblad never competed with Leica. You got one system for portability and speed, and the other for resolution...

Decades of inculcating the market went out the window with the switch to Fuji lenses and the 4:3 ratio of 645, that's for sure.
Some have described it as "almost medium format", others have described it as medium format... Whether that is just an assumption because it's Hasselblad, I dunno, but this might be interesting. I wonder if they're truly looking to enter the mirrorless crowd, or just build something for millionaires to buy.
WOW, this must be the rumored Square Sensor camera. At 5,000 Euros, this is not a bad price considering it would be most likely to be $5,000. It could be the one SonyBlad...
