Has anyone tried the Finao "Playbooks"? I was curious how these books compared to say the press books of Black River I have been using for coffee table and guest signing books. I see they are priced similar and was wondering if they had the same Finao quality?
They are photo prints rather than press printed. The prints are adhered back to back. It's pretty nice. It's not as luxurious as the element books but nicer than press printed books. Just not sure yet where it fits into my offerings.
I like them. They're better than those self mount things... I think those are the Elements books that Candice mentioned. They also feel higher quality than press books. I'd probably use the Playbooks as low cost family book alternatives, if at all.
See I think the elements are better and look higher end. Play books don't come in leather but elements do and the thick mat board pages of the elements is a more expensive look. You don't have to self mount the elements books, finao can do them for you. I've got one friend who sells so many of them though that they've become pros at mounting those things. I sold two elements today and the (high end) client specifically asked for the board style pages. She bought one for her main house and one for her beach house, but was very clear that she did not want regular pages. Play books are definitely nicer than rave books. But not something I would put up against my elements books.
