I was standing in the parking lot watching this amazing sunset over this still body of water. My "big" camera was at home, so I used what I had.

Compared to a DSLR or mirrorless cam, of course, the camera in the iPhone 5S is garbage, but for a cell phone camera, it's quite impressive. Produces pretty nice images, even in middling light (though there's pretty heavy NR and processing going on, it does so in a way that reduces for web very well as well as prints very well.) This is from last night with the 5S, lit by incandescent light indoors. In bright light outdoors, it produces very nice images with even fairly good DR.

Thanks. Testing out some more outdoor stuff. The pano works pretty well, and it's better than it was on my iPhone 5, as it adjusts exposure throughout to avoid massively blowing out the bright parts....the right side in real life is significantly brighter than the left, but it handled it pretty well.

And another (very short) pano to get a little wider view and fit this framing:

I was looking through this thread and none of the images looked familiar. I finally figured out that there are two cell phone image threads. The other one has dropped well down on page 2 and only accumulated a couple of pages of posts. This one is apparently the "winner".
