p.1 #1 · Slideshow App?

Anyone use an app on the iPad for presenting images to your clients? The slideshow app that comes with the iPad has very limited options. I want to more precisely control timing, transitions and titles. I've looked at Snapspeed but cant see where it has a slideshow option.

Thanks, Keith

I use Animoto, not an app but easy to use if you have wifi. Easy to use internet based, you can download to disc. However it is very limited in the control that you have, but the shows are very well done and look like they were professionaly produced with little time other than uploading the photo's and adding music. You don't really have control over like you can with something like ProShow Gold, which I used to use, but those took me literally hours that I don't have but they give you 100% control. (Pro show wouldn't work for me when I switched to Mac)

On MAC I use Aperture to build slideshow and than you can create version that works on iPad right from Aperture. That way you've more control on how you want ti to show. I've heard lot of good things about Proshow but have not tried it on MAC.

We use ProShow....I set up a master file that serves as my template, so each new slideshow takes me about 15 minutes to setup. Easy Peasy.

Thanks for the feedback! I found Photo Manager Pro for ipad which so far is good and comes close. Your limited to the timing of the slides to a few set times and adding/removing music is clunky. I'm using Lightroom so Aperture is not for me. ProShow I used in the past and is in my opinion the best slideshow app but to run on a Mac you have to run Parallels and have Windows installed. Pro show is almost worth it! Fotomagico is what I currently use for my big client Slideshows. After all this I wish for something a bit more robust than Photo Manager Pro but for now it will do.
