I am really struggling printing with CS-3 and would like to just use Capture NX2 if I can. I THINK I understand CS-3's color management process but don't have a clue about NX-2 and could use a good book.
Specifically, I can assign a color profile through the adjust menu, as a preference setup and twice once I click print. Once I click print and get the CNX2 print layout dialog box I can select to use source profile or use color management. Under color management I can select a printer profile. Then the printer dialog box opens and again have the option of having color matching set to either Colorsync or Canon Color matching. If I select Colorsync and I think that is correct, I can choose automatic or a printer profile. If I select a printer profile here as well as in the prior dialog box called print layout, I think I am double profiling.
Either way, I need a book to walk me through when to select color profiles and when not to.
