It looks to me like he had alot of loving people around him when he passed...which is the way it should be. I hope that I am as lucky when I finally move on. Great pictures and my sympathies to you and your family.

I really appreciate that, tdn626. He lived a long and really good life, building this wonderful family around him. I think we always want our parents to live forever, but it was his time.
I visited these photos again as thread came up the list and again had tears in my eyes. My condolences for your loss. He and you both are so lucky to have such a great family

That's pretty cool that you've revisited it after so long, and it still has an impact on you. I like looking at them as it takes me back to those moments when -- sure, it was his last days -- but he was so doggone happy. It was just so nice to see that.
