Too bad Olympus didn't make the macro 75mm and this lens 60mm, then I would consider it. 75mm is awkward FL for me unless for macro. Given the price difference, I'd take the macro. In fact you get the 60 macro and superb 45 f/1.8 for similar money as 75.

75 may be awkward for some people but not so for others.
A 75/1.8 lens will give you a nicer/softer background blur than a 60/1.8 lens. And when a 1.6x or 2x TC comes along (as it will eventually) the 75/1.8 will make a nice 120/2.8 or 150/4 lens.
Currently the 75 is my most used lens and the 60 is my least used. The 45 and 25 falls somewhere in-between, for me.
Ahh...but if only DxO's lens tests meant anything at all. Look through their lens tests...they're absolutely crazy. I'm not saying the 75/1.8 isn't the best lens for m4/3...I think it is...it's just that DxO's lens tests are garbage. "transmission" is a huge part of the score...and it's not t-stop vs f-stop, it's: What's the maximum aperture? The lens rating also has a HUGE deal to do with what body they've tested it on. The same lens on full frame vs APS-C may drop the score in half due to the smaller sensor.
They have the Samyang 85/1.4 as a better lens than the 75/1.8. I own both...the Samyang is very good, but it is NOT better than the 75/1.8. No way, no how. Heck, they have the Canon 50/1.8 as rated higher than the 75/1.8. That's an absolute JOKE.

Possibly ... but where did you hear this? I have yet to see a single complaint about this lens, aside from it being expensive.
Personal anecdote, Bobby. I had a killer copy that I stupidly got rid of, then wanted to buy it again. My third copy after that is a keeper being the closest. (To keep exchanging became like Sisyphus.) For whatever reason, the Gods didn't want me to get another lens like the first one that I let go.
Man ... this is a lot sharper than what my Canon 85L II was able to do. This lens certainly rocks and I think it's worth every penny. Looking forward to a release of more Olympus long/fast primes.
