I would like to see the entire edge of his hat bill, the back of the hat looks like there could exist some added character. His right eye looks sharp, I think the left eye could use some localized sharpening.

Great character face! I like your treatment. I'm undecided about the unconventional framing. I think I'd like either more cropping on the right or more room on the right.
Douglas, Yeah, I could have included the hat bill. I am frustrated that the one eye is soft. This is 85mm at f2.8 - I thought that this was stopped down enough.
dmacmillan, I know that the unconventional crops are not for everyone. With your suggestion, I will probably crop a teeny bit more from the right.
lmilhanjr, Never had that happen. A couple of times, someone said "NO!" so quickly, that it implied "Hell no!". But no one has ever called me a jerk, etc. Now, if I took a candid shot and got caught, that might be a different thing.
