Thunder Water is Niagara in Seneca and having been at the bottom of the falls it is easy to see how the falls got there name. We are coming to the end of a week and a half of waterfalls in PA and NY and have been having a blast. We have seen amazing beauty and power and gotten plenty of hiking in. This is a small sample of what we have experienced. There processed on my laptop so if there not up to my usual quality I’ll fix that when we get home as well as post images of some of the lesser known places.

He did that from the other side of the American Falls from where I took the last image Dorian. That would have put him right over my head for the ones from the bottom.

I should have had my family stand there with colored feathers.
You think you understand the power and then you stand under the spray where my family is shown and discover the spray has power, never mind the torrent behind that!

I love photographing the falls at night as the lights do amazing things. I wish they had the fireworks as they would have been mixed in with the skyline.
my picks are 2,3,8. I wish you could have gotten a little better perspective in 2 since it is such a unique shot, Morris. And 8 would be great on metallic paper
