Just got back from GTNP & YSNP trip and would like to share some bear photos. C&C always welcome. I am very glad that I had a car with a sunroof, next time onwards that would be a must have. All shots using 5DIII + 300 f2.8 IS V1 + 2x III( except as noted):
1. Meet Mama Bear # 610 at GTNP. I got a glimse of her the first day as she walked by near oxbow bend, but she offered fantastic viewing the following day on the road to two ocean lake :
Douglas, she was a beauty to watch. She went up to the logs to try to see if there is some food there and upon disappointment, retried back into the woods.
Thanks Rajesh, this was my third trip and a I have never seen so many bears so close up in these parks. We were there only a total of 7 days and even then it was mostly family time.
