106 degF, wow!
Couldn't sit outside in the shade no more than 5-10 minutes.
Didn't even think about working with a tripod, etc...
I don't like to sweat all over my equipment.
I hate summer, if I can't get out first thing in the AM, the day is "gone".

Traveling to cooler places is also nice.

Like Alaska? The warmest day so far this year here in Fairbanks was 86. The past couple days it has been kind of cloudy and cool - in the 60s and 70s. Even better, we have had very few forest fires this year compared to normal, unlike some other places in the lower 48!

Let me cover the other seasons for you now so we won't get updates four times a year:
I HATE fall! Too many leaves to clean up, and gets darker each day.... really scary for me.
I HATE winter! Too much snow and ice.... and it's cold too. I don't own gloves so my hands get cold.
I HATE spring! I have allergies, the grass grows too fast, and birds are noisy in the morning.
