(On a side note, I see you use a 180mm for hummers. I started with a 180mm (which my wife still has) and found it to be an excellent choice, provided one can get close enough. For anyone looking to shoot hummingbirds on a budget, I highly recommend the (Sigma) 180mm macro. I used mine hand held for in flight shots with and without a 1.4xtc on 20D and 1DmkIIn bodies with great results. I used the focus limiter of course. )
