I am thinking about buying an alien bee ring flash for studio work with models. I use a Sony a850 currently. When I contacted their customer service folks said that I would need an L Bracket to shoot vertical camera orientation freehand shots. I can't seem to find a l-bracket for this camera. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated!
does the lens you intend to use offer a mount ring?
I don't really understand why you'll need the bracket for freehand holding, unless you're using the larger modifiers.
