Thanks for the reply Travis. I think it is just a random group of stars since it is about the same size as the moon. Most constellations would be several times the size of the moon.

Cool take with the moon Jim. The moon is very old for sure. Man on the moon fits the theme well.

Very nice shot!

The grouping of stars is the Pleiades. Also known as The Seven Sisters or in Japan, Subaru (check out the logo of the car company).

Darn, I was thinking that Pleiades was a bit further away and out of the frame. I'll bet you are right.

I looked it up in Stellarium - used his location from his profile and the time and date from the EXIF
