Beyond the increase in resolution, and maybe more importantly, my NEX 7 outperforms my 5N in IQ. Colours are improved, and DR maybe even more so. That alone is worth the upgrade IMHO.
I had a NEX5 when it first came out and now I have a 7.. i like the 7 much better for the most part.. the only thing I dislike about the 7 is the lack of really good wide angle options due to the noticible color shift on rangefinder lenses that is barely detectable on the 5..
Inkjets (Epsons) usually like 360 dpi at the image size; and continuous tone (Lightjet, Chromira...) like 300dpi. So I dont get how folks are making, what they call very good prints, 20 x 30 inch prints from the Nex 5N (16mp) ? I guess one could interpolate with PS or Genuine Fractals or something ? Am I missing something...please let me in on the secret
