This WA has had me stymied - ironically, since (long ago) I've both worked for the railroad and flown small planes - but there have been some good entries submitted...too bad I didn't think of them first
Thanks, Mark; I'm usually more concerned with removing grain than adding it, but the heat shimmer was incredible at the distance I was shooting from, so this was one solution...
Now, I never said I drove trains; I actually worked in a Southern RR yard in the early 70's...I flew for a few years in the 80's, then was really poor for a while and couldn't afford it...now I'm too old and stupid .
