Unlike many, automobiles have been a staple of my photographic interests for a long time, with over 40K frames shot from the sidelines and hidden places on a race track...but there were no events for me to cover this past weekend

. So I had to think up something else. I knew what I wanted to do, and knew when...this morning on my way to a job site, well before many people are awake. So, here is my submission for the week: Illumination. Thanks for looking, good luck to everyone this week.

Thanks. I wanted to do something about the car itself...but not make the entire scene the car...as you said, a little different.

Good Photo - the moon is a nice little note up there above the rising sun - gives it a good sense of time of day, somehow, like you can smell the morning on-the-way-to-work coffee...

Thanks for taking the time Jerry. The moon was a nice bonus this morning...it did cause me to drive around looking for a spot that I could include it. It would be nice to have these quiet rural roads as part of my daily commute...sadly I only get to see them when work calls lately.

Thanks. I drove around for a while looking for the right road, and the right angle to get the moon in there.
