MonkeyGuy,
I spent a couple of days at the Monte Vista Crane Festival and I was pleased to see some of the Sandy's you shot this winter at Bosque. Bill & Bertha Bosque asked me to tell you hello and let you know they plan on seeing you again next year.. Nice count of birds at Monte Vista this year 23,000 is the number I was told and probably close to that were the Canada Geese.
Sweet, Roger...so glad you got to fire off a few! I've always wanted to head up there to MV, but it's right around
the time things start picking up here. Can't imagine #'s like that, wow.
These are eye-poppingly detailed, Rogelio. Gorgeous work on Bill and Bertha here. When I was at Whitewater Draw near Bisbee last year January they estimated the numbers to be around 40,000. Guess Bill, Bertha, Frazier, Niles and all the other Cranes thought the Byrds were back in concert...

Lots of photo opportunities so it was a fun couple of days.
