As I posted-holed out 200 yards from the shoreline, I sincerely hoped that I judged correctly and that the 100+ inches of snow and subzero weather would keep me safe above the tidal waters of the Knik River on the Cook Inlet, near Anchorage, Alaska. Then again, what a way to go, in search of Art.

I was able to view by copy and paste. I like it, but the halos around the nearest light kind of ruin an otherwise very powerful image for me.

Now that's a bridge! I wonder if the color shot showed the stars brighter? If you could make those POP it would be a great effect I think.

Love the diagonal composition.

Is the image now showing up correctly? I made a few mistaken uploads at first since I haven't posted in awhile.

It didn't show when I viewed the thread until I had copy+pasted the URL.. then it shows.. a but bizarre behaviour unless the website doesn't like certain refererrer links?

That aside, great shot

The image is posted on my smugmug site. I sized it at 640, and then posted with the URL in the message. Should I be doing something else to post for this forum? Other than spending money to subscribe here I mean.

I'm not sure what is going on, since it loads every time for me, possibly a cookie or something is loading for me and not for others. If someone knows the solution I'd be glad to learn of it.

I think they are saying you must attach/upload the file not use a URL link.

BTW: I could not see your image from my other computer until I went to the URL itself then it would display. From my home laptop now I can not see it either. I appears to be a cookie thing as someone noted/
