Here is my go...I don't personally have a dog but I'm around them when I visit family. I used to have a chocolate lab, so I definitely have a soft spot for those. The weimaraner fills that void for me in terms of the large breed. The pit bull terrier is my sisters and that is the nicest, most docile dog I have ever been around in my life, go figure! The jack russell is hyper but slowing due to age. I love these guys!
I absolutely LOVE the images that have been posted in this thread and that it's still going strong after more than a month. There's just something magical about dogs and the photos here capture it so well.
Beautiful pic, Joshua. Great looking dog, pose, framing, colours and tack-sharp focus on his left eye. I love too how you can see a clear reflection of you in that eye, holding up your left hand so the dog looks just where you want him too. Nicely done.
And AA Fotografi, my shots in the original post were mostly taken with a 5D2 and a Canon 70-200/2.8 (non-IS), except for #3 (Avalanche Rescue Dog) which was taken with the same lens but a Rebel XSi body and for #8 (Wet Fall Walk) which was taken with the 5D2 and a Canon 50/1.8. (EDIT: If you want the specific focal length, aperture, ISO, etc., too, it varies for each shot but that info can be found in this gallery on my website: http://www.robsonfletcher.com/p672349385/h1a96df13#h1a96df13 -- you just have to click on the "Info" tab on the right-hand side of the page.)
