ultra wide: sony E 16/2.8.
considering the cv 15/4.5 depending on which body i replace my dying NEX-3 with.
wide: rokkor 24/2.8.
am looking to get the zm 18/4 and either the ZA 24/1.8 and contax g 28/2.8 or the 28 cron.
normal: currently i just have the c/y 35/1.4.
will probably add a cv 35/2.5 (and one of the 28s from above).
portrait: pen f 42/1.2, contax g 45/2, jupiter-3, rokkor MC PG 50/1.4, rokkor MC PF 55/1.7.
i really don't need anymore, but i wouldn't turn down a lux.
telephoto: OM 85/2, nikkor 105/2.5 ais, rokkor MC PF 135/2.8.
i'll probably sell the OM and might get pentax 77/1.8 or contax g 90/2.8, but i don't really need anything in that focal length...

I'm wanting a fast 1.4 lens but that seems to cost the car in M-mount
Any reason LTM is off the list?
Jupiter 3 is close to what you want, and Canon has one as well, just a thought.

If I have an adapter that will allow me to mount it on then I will use.
Generally I bought the NEX to use with all old FD glass from the 7.5 FE upto and including the 150-600L. It looks funny when attached to the big white zoom lens mounted on the tripod.
FD's, Hexanons, Rokkors, and Canon RF are my main reasons.
... and that's it so far. But I hope to be getting more. The camera is more or less permanently owned by my wife but I'm using it from time to time, and I want her to be making the best pictures she can (that's also a bit of extra income, and I want her to be happy). Plus I want to buy a NEX-7 sometime to carry around.
I think I am clear about my lineup now, just need th cash
- ZM18/4 ( still to be aquired )
- ZM35/2
- Elmar90/4
For low light portrait, a C/Y 50/1.4 Planar might help out. The jury is also out for two old Contax Sonnars : 50/2 and 85/2, but I feel like they need a little service before I do something serious with them.
My current NEX lens kit includes 20 Zeiss lenses (Z and C/Y),11 Minolta MD lenses and 5 others (Zuiko,Tokina,Tamron,Sony),but this is what is use most often :
C/Y: Distagon 28/2.8,Planar 50/1.7,Makro Planar C 60/2.8,Sonnar 85/2.8
I'm currently trying to build my kit, as I wait for my Nex-7 to arrive, and I'm curious what made you pick the CV 35/1.2 over the other 35 options (ZM 35/2, CV 35/1.4, etc.). I'm afraid the CV 35/1.2 will be too heavy/big for daily use. Do you find that to be the case, or does it work well on your Nex-7?

Daily grind:
Nex-7 + tamron 17/3.5, (my gf wants af on her nex-5 with the 16/2.8), CV 35/1.2 v2 (my girlfriend uses the Contax 45/2 :P ) and the contax 90/2.8.
Well,I do have the Contax C/Y 28, 50 1.7 and the 85 2.8. The 85 is not on par with the optical quality of the two first, neither on the Nex 5n, nor on the 5D2...maybe just me copy, but itīs MUCH softer...

On another thread, some people are saying they have found their lens lineup for NEX, so what is your lineup? What are you looking for?
Mine currently:
18-55 + 16 + FE
CY 35-70 + 28/2.8 + 135/3.5
G90 + G45
OM 50/1.2 + 28/2.8
Not sure if I will keep the G's due to overlap. I'd like to fill the UWA slot, hopefully with a native NEX AF lens in 2012. I love the G90, but am considering replacing with a CY85/2.8, as I could enjoy it on my 5D2.

That's my setup. I also own the 18-55 kit lens, but rarely use it. I also have the CV 40/1.4 which I use less than I should. I really like this lens, but the FL (and MFD) don't suit me too well, other than for portraits. I'm going to give the Pen F 40/1.4 a try one of these days.
Man, Lotusm50, with that lineup, I'd say go ahead and just get the 5N + EVF and be done with it. The 15, 21, 28 and (probably) 35 will likely all have more consistent performance across the frame on the 5N.
.75 Wide Angle Adapter
16 mm f/2.8
18-55 mm kit
18-200 mm
24 mm f/1.8 Zeiss (worth every penny)
35 mm f/1.4 Voigtlander (currently on sale here- 24 works out better for me.)
No more lens purchases planned.
I still have D700, 24-120VR, 70-200VR. I sold everything else this fall (D3, D90, D7000, 80-400VR, 105VR, 38-70, 17-25, Gitzo, Wimberley, Markins)
