These are fantastic - I echo all the compliments.
What struck me immediately was the tones and texture which remind one of the pencil illustrations that were used in magazines like the Illustrated London News about 100 years ago.
If you can (safely), visit Isfahan (Iran) where there are magnificent mosques more than 500 years old that cry out for treatment like this.

WOW!!!! They are fantastic images!!! I am so insanely jealous as I have wanted to take mosque images for years (I live/work in Saudi Arabia) but am to scared of being locked up for it.

SOme of the very best photography I have seen in a while, any of these would be a treasured addition to a home/studio. Your B&W conversions are textbook for those of us who do it regularly. I readily look forward to your work here.
