Ok, 1image down...499,999 to go...just what I needed...have 8 years of digital photos to go through now...just to post 1done "manually" the old way and the second with Dave's action...there is a bit of a learning curve but I suspect not very steep....you do have to remember to change the color space and make sure its set to 16bit on ACR!

To my eye this is looking really sweet my friend. The second is stellar!
I suppose I should I have said this up front but this action isn't meant to do anything else but make well exposed images sing, that's what 2 really is

WHEW! And you still have time to hold a job! Where do you get the time to do all this, Tim? OK, I know you have it all down pat, but...I think I'll stick with DPP, then tweaking in PSPX2. Until I retire and get more time! Thanks for showing us how you conjure your visual magic, though.

Yes I downloaded it. When I click on it it opens up Photoshop. After that I just slowly make the photo worse I'll try again but after a couple of hours getting nowhere I gave up last night

Thank you for this. Tim - now I know why I've hung on to all those raw files while waiting for my PS skills to improve. I really don't have a clue what I'm doing but here's one of about 70 images from April 24th 2007.
