Thanks Mark. Since I have lots of time on my hands and no beautiful hands around for modeling, these hands came to mind. I couldn't even use my own since my right hand has only 3 fingers (one of which is locked at a 90 degree angle). The left hand is equally as ugly. Soooo, I went with the mechanical option
Besides I have a week to come up with something more elegant if it presents itself.

Nice thinking out of the box. That's a beautiful clock face and the square crop works well here.

I wanted to emphasize the hands as much as I could and the sq format seemed to work best.
