Thet have a new icon for picture styles! A paintbrush with its tip on the "canvas" of a frame - another huge improvement - the old one didn't really convey the message well, IMO.
Not sure if this was posted but the original blog posted an update where he explains in detail how they discovered this guy and actually didn't take any pics of his gear the first day they saw him (just noticed the 200-400) and then saw him again a few days later and noticed that some things he was carrying were worth a pic or two
fire off some clandestine pics, then approach said Canon employee try to see up close WTF he is shooting with. I wonder if the Canon guy was a little nervous and worried? In the meantime, damn amazing detail with the 100-400, we can see if he needs a manicure or not. I might have to put that lens on my short list.

I would not be too sure about that Whayne. Think about the spread Canon needs in it's portfolio. A 5Dx should be further away from the 1Dx to justify the difference in cost and performance. I bet it will have a 7d like AF system, which is better than the current 5DmkII AF, but worse (and more cost effective!) than that of the 1D serie models.

I don't understand this argument...so we're OK with the successor to the 5D having a 7D-like AF system despite the fact that it will probably costs twice as much as a 7D, but it can't have the same AF system as a 1-series because it will be cheaper than the 1DX? Nikon had no problem putting their best AF in the D700 & D300 and they didn't seem to have any issue with D3/D700/D300 sales...

Well...the D700's AF isn't as good as the D3 or D3s, and although the D300's AF is OK for an advanced-amateur body, it sucks in comparison to the other cameras. If you want better technology Nikon will make you pay for it...and so will Canon.
The logo of that feather in the square is exactly the same as = the compose new tweet = logo in my twitter account. Would it mean that you could send a photo you select? I could imagine this interesting for photographs professional like weddingers or photographers sport who want to publish photos immediately to the newspaper or a blog, or on a beamer during the weddding?

Fair enough...so in terms of AF the Nikon D3>D700>D300...so let's see Canon do the same thing...1DX>5D3 (or whatever they call it)>7D. The point is that Nikon's offering in the compact FF body is far better in terms of AF than Canon...I'm not asking for free lunch...I'm just asking for a modern AF system if Canon wants to charge the $3K+ that they will likely ask for the 5D successor...not a warmed-over 7D/5D2 AF...

Is that your first hand experience or did you read that on the internet? I used them both side-by-side and at the end I sold the D700. I am not saying that the AF of D700 is worse but "far better" is definitely not the case. Let me assure you that the center AF point of the 5D Mark II is more responsive and fast and we will leave it at that.

Maybe a 32MP 5DXH in late 2013?? 32MP scales better for 4k video and if they design a high MP sensor they probably want it to also do 4k so they can get dual use out of it
7-12 MP ( depending on which 4k format you pick) at 24 fps, would not be too shabby for action shooters ( if it's pixel binning along the way, the IQ will be nice even for stills) and 32 MP for landscapers at 4-6 fps would probably be fast enough even for the fastest-moving mountains
