Boy oh boy, those snow flakes work so well with those bird portraits.
Very charming pictures of the little ones.
Peter, thank you for the kind words, though I can't take responsibility for the snow flakes, I guess I did attempt to execute during in the unique setting they presented.
I'm impressed that you still got out there in all that snow. I live in Monroe (but I'm from MT) and I've never seen so much craziness over a little snow. I wasn't laughing' anymore when I lost power for 3 days but I'm so glad things are up and running again. Love your snowy shots. 2, 4 and 7 are my picks

Nice set Doug, I do see some snow there. The "beamer" sure brings out the shadows, well done.

Thanks Dave, yes it was a little "snowy". We ended up with 9" or so. The beamer is an interesting tool, I need to use it more, especially with our "weather" up here.
Thanks Birdie, I appreciate your taking the time. BTW - I checked out your website, some great stuff there. I used to work for EG&G, Doc Edgerton was a pioneer in high speed photography. You may have seen some of his milk drop photos.
