Shot some sports recently with a 5DII camera. Bullriding at the Garden in NYC at 3200 no flash or strobes.
Hockey at 3200 arena light only.

Basketball with White Lightning 600's from one corner of the floor.

Just for fun.

Probably due to resizing, the photos appear not as sharp as the originals do.

You're right--they don't look sharp. I'll take your word for it that the originals are sharp.

How was the speed of focusing? From what I hear, that is the main impediment to using a 5DII for sports.
