A friend of mine who is a makeup artist has a cousin that is trying to get into modeling. I figured it would be a good practice opportunity for me since I hope to eventually get good enough at this to start charging at least a small fee to support my hobby. This was one of the shots from the session and I thought it happened to fit this weeks theme pretty well. Critique is always welcome so I can improve.

Thank you Oregon Gal, Tom, and relms. There was about a 10 minute window where the lighting came together just pefectly.

Thanks for the confidence-inspiring note Norm. I think I've hesitated to charge people for what I do due to a lack of confidence.

Thanks Mark. It's funny you mention the word "sassy" because she is about as quiet and sweet as can be in person, but she can portray some alter egos in photos.

Nice one. Good balance between the foreground and the sky although I generally prefer the key a bit more down. Key light is in a great spot. The area to the left of the subject just behind her was bright for me I'm sure it's spill from your key. I like the tilted swing but something about her pose or her wardrobe makes her a bit over the top for this setting but I kinda like that element. Not a bad model and I think this matched the theme very well.
