Just running some tests of the Super Multi Coated Macro Tak 100 F4 on my a900 and I have to say I'm mighty impressed with the rendering. Gorgeous color, contrast and bokeh. Nice and sharp as well. Quite a jewel of a lens imho.
I just got my S-M-C Takumar 50mm f/1.4 on Monday and I am really loving this lens. The colors and sharpness are so good I donīt feel the need to do post processing outside of standard raw conversion. Shot on a Canon 450d / XSi.

Thanks for the heads up, I have no idea how the link changed, it's now been corrected.
Nice shots everyone, the s-m-c 50/1.4 is one of the last I want for my collection, nice too see some images from it to speed the process, thanks shroud72.

I just copied the old thread title, I have no problems with any lens made by Pantax being showcased here, the more the merrier I say.
Oh sure, now you get relaxed... I say forget THAT! Let's all post about 5 messages each detailing what camera and lens combinations we think should be included and excluded!!!
Ok, no shots from lenses with the numbers 4 & 8 in their serial # will be permitted in this thread, failure to comply will result in boo's, hisses, and snarky remarks...
LightShow, did you once mention comparing the 8 element Tak 50 1.4 against the later 7 element version? Curious to hear and see the difference. I know some claim the bokeh on the earlier version is supposedly less busy but the one test I ran across really did not show that.
Shot these today in the mall today with the S-M-C Takumar 50mm f/1.4 stopped down to f/2.8.
Colors and sharpness are completely natural, only removed noise in post processing.
