I have a wedding to photograph in March,and was wondering which two lenses I should take?
Canon 85 1.2 Mark II or Canon 24-70 2.8 or Canon 70-200 2.8 IS Mark I

seriously, is this something that needs asking? can't you just take all 3, the 85 isn't exactly a massive lens. if you're truly stuck then definitely take the 24-70 because you'll need something wider than 70mm. and then personally i'd got for 70-200mm, couldn't really imagine shooting a wedding without anything longer than 85mm

I agree that you should take both of the zooms in order to get a full range of views, but if you can take the 85 as well then do so; having something faster than f/2.8 will come in handy for some indoor shots.

I'd suggest borrowing or renting a 50/1.4 or 35/1.4 as well, if it's going to be a wedding in a church or synagogue.

Also, if you're not already doing so (you don't have a list of your gear), be sure to take a back-up body (and ideally a back-up for the back-up, although I seldom do), extra batteries for flash and cameras, etc.

I use a 24-70 and 70-200/2.8IS for 99.99% of wedding shots, but I also don't understand why you would not take all three.

Take all three!

24-70 and 70-200 will cover 95+% of all images at a wedding. The 85mm f/1.2 may only get less than 5% of the images. But they often are those "wow" images that the other lenses just can't quite get.
