I see that Gitzo is running their rebate program on their tripods.

Anyone have any experience with their rebate program? Is it worth it or is it a PITA?

They're fairly quick, I got my prepaid visa card in about 2 1/2 weeks. I like getting a check better, I always forget to use those stupid cards!

I remember when Canon used to have rebate program where you have to mail in UPC, receipts and forms. It was just plain a PITA. Even if you did everything right on your part, they still don't honor it. You have to call the rebate center a few times and raise hell before they approve it and mail you a check.

I am so happy Canon moved towards instant rebate.
