Also, I've never used the site so I don't know how well it works out but couldn't hurt if you are getting lens anyway... right? How I miss the Bing rebates!

My lens is sitting in the Dallas UPS facility. It is 4.5 hours away. I bet it sits there until Friday, the expected delivery date. I am like a kid waiting for a Red Rider BB gun on Christmas!!

Dont you just hate that? I've so many times ordered something only for it to arrive on Friday morning, only after the truck leaves the depot, and I have to wait until Monday for delivery. They wont let me even go to the depot, which is 5 minutes from my house, and pick it up. It has to be delivered. It drives me crazy!!

Does anyone know if other lenses are cheaper via a special link versus the listed price ($1974 vs. $2074 for the 70-200)? (I'm not on facebook and looking at the 24 ts-e)

Does the extra $100 expire Dec 1st 11:59PM , or is it good all through Dec 2nd? I've never really paid attention to those sorts of promotions and want to make sure that I don't accidentally miss it if I'm able to pick one up.

I got my 70-200/2.8 IS II today. It's a little larger than the old one, but not obviously much different other than the rubber ring. I'm wondering if the price will drop even more next year or not. Maybe I should buy a second copy now?
I also obtained the 1.4x III. For some reason I am more interested in that than the 70-200.

Let me know what you think about the 1.4x II as I am thinking about it as well. I mean why not, I have been on a B&H spending frenzy this month so why stop! Just don't tell the wife!!

I just looked at the invoice of my 70-200 F/2.8 IS II. I paid $2,299 on 3/8/11. Ouch!
At least I got a good deal on the 50L f/1.2, although I missed the UPS man today.
