Thank you guys! That was exactly what I was hoping for

Corposant, the first one is a classic, a la Henri Cartier-Bresson.
Edd, Great historic shots! Gold is nowadays in the 1700$/oz, this boy must be rich by now, if he's still in this world, that is.
Luka, yeah, my gamble paid off I know you hate it but you should shoot film more often. Nice shot as usual!
Ansochrome, thanks for posting. I love no. 1 and 2 in first post, and no. 1 and 3 in the second.

Waiting for my film to be back from NCPS, hope to post some soon!

Thanks Edward - sad to say that after I exhaust my current freezer full of film, I'll be hopefully in line for an M10. It should take me about a year longer to get through it all, so I will have more to post. I still find it hard to get the real B&W palette digitally - they'll always be a place for film once that happens.

Some of these shots really take me down memory lane - very timeless.

Stockholm scenes, mostly M6 + Zeiss 35/2 Biogon I think. These are from the first roll I shot with the M6. For some reason that camera inspires me do street photography - something that I usually don't do.

I have started to go through old Xpan photos, I don't have much scanned yet though. This is a cheap scan that doesn't do the image justice, but still;

Hasselblad Xpan 45mm lens (25mm equiv at pano), film is probably Porta 160NC, could be Reala, haven't checked the negs in a while:

Havanna, Cuba, back in 2000.

For not doing it often, you do "street" rather well, Luca. Nice work.

Ed: Forgot to add that info. Will edit my post. Will try to dig out some more from back in the days...

Mamiya 7II RF Fuji Reala 80mm lens at f8/11, pretty hard crop. Back in 1999 or 2000. I don't remember...
Te Puketea in Abel Tasman, NZ. Te Puketea means roughly large/big hill in Maori.

Unfortunately Photobucket shrinks the image considerably. Will try and find a solution for presenting them larger. They don't look their best at this small size.

Sunrise the very same morning as the previous image, Mosquito Bay, Abel Tasman, NZ. Fifteen minutes away by kayak. Mosquito means itching and bitching in any language.

Mamiya 7II 50/4.5 t f4.5, handheld leaning on a log.

Henrik - you must be the only person I have seen who has ever used the 35mm Pano kit with the Mamiya 7/7ii.

Contax G2 does some action down in Moab, Utah;

Biogon G 28 at f5.6 on Kodak 100 film:

Corposant; the previous shots are cropped from 6x7. I did try the film insert for the Mamiya 7 but it was better for me to crop in post... I have yet to meet another guy who has used the film insert... It worked allright but it was a bit limiting to say the least...

Same outing, different day. Prrrrobably Biogon 28. Yes, I am pretty sure I left the G21 at home for this trip (!).
Cheap lab scans so I can't really massage them in post pro as well as I'd like to.

Good Morning,

Edward, I hope that my old images have not used up my welcome here. I do promise to get out and use some of the old "gears" that have been neglected for way-too long. I have recently acquired this gem, a Zeiss Contessa RF, with a Zeiss Tessar 45mm f2.8 T lens. It will be going to the shop for CLA, then into service. I have also found an old Canon G-III QL, which will be heading for CLA as well.

A couple more from the time machine with the Canon 7 and FL 28 f3.5 @ f8, Ektachrone 64.

Regards,

Edd

Hi Edd! I'm very grateful for your participation in this thread. Thank you so much! Your SE Asia photos from the 70s are of real historic value. And congratulations for the Ikon Contessa! What a beautiful camera! What's even more amazing is that you're gonna actually shoot with it

Looking forward to the next installments!

Ed; thanks. I have a few from Cuba I am not too ashamed of, I will have to find some means to upload them other than Photobucket. I'll get right on it after the weekend.

(I don't have a website or other online album account.)

Nice shot, corposant. It would benefit considerably from a boost in contrast, me thinks.
