Wow. This is incredible.
Did you shoot the whole wedding with just the 35L and 135L?
Thanks Chad. Everything shot on the 5DII was shot using just the 35L and the 135L. Normally I shoot with two 5DII's but at this wedding, as I wanted to be as incognito as possible I chose 1 x 5DII and a Retrospective 5 bag with a lens and the Canon A1. I think I shot the A1 at 24mm and 35mm.
Generally at a wedding I shoot the 135L and 35L as my mainstay lenses but I also shoot 50 f/1.4 and the 17/40L a fair bit also. I wanted to travel light at this wedding so I did it as described above. Have to say, I wish I'd worn my speedbelt, I find it a MUCH faster method for changing lenses than using a bag.
Also, I missed having a medium wide and a telephoto available at the same time - number 11 is exactly the sort of comedy moment the B&G were looking for, but I only had the 35L ready so had to shoot it wide. I quite like the incongruent effect shooting it wide gives however, if I had the chance again, I'd prefer to frame the moment a little more tightly.
