Hi Norm,

Thanks, and your caption would be very funny. Like you say, no offfense to people in unifform. The statue is in Carmel Indiana and they have a bunch of them around the streets. It's very cool but they are leaving themselves open to this kind of thing

Thanks for the nice compliment! I have thought about these statues for a while and how they might fit into a weekly assignment. This week was it and I hope people like it. My thought was, who is out of place, the statue or the real person?

Hey Greg, glad you got a kick out of it. I really wanted to do something humorous this week cause I've had too many serious entries lately. My sister and I had some real good laughs with this one. We'll never forget when 12 women went by on a "power walk" and I told my sis to strike a pose, then I started clicking away like some fashon photog, . You should have heard the group of walkers laughing at us..... priceless

Hi John,

I didn't remember you were in Westfield! Wow, that's close. Funny that you know those same statues. Thanks for the comment, and we should get together and shoot sometime. My sister is an excellent phtographer and her boyfriend lives in Carmel and is the sales manager for the Phase One company. He travels the world doing landscape photo workshops and he would be really fun for us all to shoot with sometime.

Nice story shot and story Mark. Your entries are always so very creative. My first thought was that you took this in one of those children's traffic school parks, which I thought would have been a little more awkward.
