I really wanted to try and do something different. But what? I went to a Medieval castle and saw a woman dressed as Boudicca, queen of the Iceni tribe in ancient Britain and thought the blade would be a good point of focus. ooh, a pun.

I hope you like my attempt at this challenge.

It's a neat shot, but I think it has too much motion blur. If the assignment were "crazy motion" you'd have a winner here! ;-)

I do agree that, for me, I think it's a little too much motion-like blur instead of blur due to being out of the plane of focus. I'm curious how you go the knife in such sharp focus when she was moving. Or did you create the blur in post? I do like the expression you caught on her face though. It looks intimidating...I sure wouldn't want to be the Roman on the receiving end of that!
